This video is the fruit of the first collaboration of that long black cloud with Greek pianist Vassilis Varvaresos. It was filmed at MOMus, Thessaloniki, GR

Dora Pejačević. Unknown to most, her story is a testament to the untouched wealth of great music still undiscovered – and to the hurdles that still exist for the disenfranchised. Her music is punchy, robust, her voice is strong and personal. She lived in Croatia. She died at age 38. Even though she was born in nobility, with her family’s encouragement to pursue a career in music as strong as anyone would have wanted, there is a phrase in the Preface of her Piano Miniatures Vol. III that I would like to share: “Her Verwandlung, a setting for voice, violin and organ or the like-named poem by Karl Kraus, prompted the poet to show the piece to Arnold Schoenberg, who praised it and suggested that it be performed publicly in Vienna. Even so, he could not resist expressing his reservations toward a female composer.” [Koraljka Kos, 2012]
